THE READING SHED

Allotment: noun: a plot of land rented by an individual for growing vegetables and flowers.

Shed:noun: a simple roofed structure used for garden storage, to shelter animals or as a workshop.
Or to hide in with a good book and avoid the digging.

How enormously appealing. Somehow reading in an allotment shed is a much better idea than just going down to the bottom of the garden and skulking in the potting shed with a book.

Most envious!

LOL

But in this household it is rarely necessary to sneak away to read - everybody else is reading anyway :D

With an allotment we can claim to be concerned about the planet when in fact all we are concerned about at the moment is the amount of digging need to get it up to the standard of the adjoining plots.

Don't be envious yet.
