We hear so much about crime in the USA that many people imagine that Europe is a crime free zone. In crime fiction Europe has become a real challenger to the Americans, but unfortunately real life crime especially in Britain is increasing as well.

HAPPY 120TH BIRTHDAY AGATHA CHRISTIE
I forgot to mention in my last post that today was the 120th Birthday of Agatha Christie. Never in crime fiction has one writer given so much pleasure to so many people.
Hear hear. I was very happy to be compared to Agatha Christie, but with 'darker plots' by the Crime Writers Association when my debut thriller was shortlisted for an international award recently.
