A few comments and thoughts about crime books set on the mainland of Europe, with titbits about real eurocrime. We hear so much about crime in the USA that many people imagine that Europe is a crime free zone. In crime fiction Europe has become a real challenger to the Americans, but unfortunately real life crime especially in Britain is increasing as well.

But if Jane Marple had lived today, she would surely have had an aerial so she could follow the news ;)

I send greetings and hope that you are okay.
Thanks for posting my reply on WWII. The discussion started to encroach on my limits on this. It's not only an intellectual discussion really.
I choose to focus on the good people, the Resistance, those who helped in large and small ways, those who were kind, who cared and were principled.
Hope you feel better soon. My recent panacea has been to read Nero Wolfe mysteries, distracting and easy reading and humorous.
Kathy the fact your comments are entered as mine is not caused by blogger but by my own stupidity and fat fingers on the I Pad screen. I deleted them by mistake and needed to retrieve them from the inbox. Sorry I will expand before tapping in future.
