WINTER QUIZ REMINDER
You have only a few days more to enter the 2010 Winter Quirky Quiz.
See the questions here and send your answers to thbear08@googlemail.com by midnight 4 January 2011 GMT.
Good Luck.
A few comments and thoughts about crime books set on the mainland of Europe, with titbits about real eurocrime. We hear so much about crime in the USA that many people imagine that Europe is a crime free zone. In crime fiction Europe has become a real challenger to the Americans, but unfortunately real life crime especially in Britain is increasing as well.

I tried, but as I won´t admit how few questions I could answer, I won´t send in my feeble attempt.
But I wish you a very happy - and healthy - New Year, Norman.
Dorte, a very Happy and healthy New Year to you and your family.
We spent some of today at the hospital so good health would be our wish for the family.
Every answer concerns a famous or very famous or prize winning author, book or film. Do send in your attempt I respect your effort. If you set a quiz in your first language my effort would be really feeble. ;o)
I feel like I'm auditing this course, am trying for my masters degree, while many bloggers have their PH.ds in crime fiction and I'm still going for the masters.
Hi,
Are you okay? Haven't seen posts and wondered if you've had a relapse of your holiday flu?
Hope you recover quickly.
As I said on the quiz, I'm auditing this course, and learning from the professionals, who have their doctorates in crime fiction analysis.
Best wishes.
My son Jacob, who had Down's syndrome and a rare heart condition died after a short illness. He was so active and achieved so much in his life including a Prince's Trust Award, and trips to New York, Spain [more than once], France, Ireland and Romania that we are in shock.
In a few weeks I may be able to post the answers to the quiz, but at the moment I can barely function.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. That is terrible.
Well, I and your other loyal bloggers have sympathy and send it to you and your family.
The quiz can wait. This is so much more important.
Best wishes to you and your family,
Kathy D.
Norman I am so sorry to hear this sad news. My thoughts go out to you, your wife, and your family
Oh, Norm - so sorry to hear this. You had so many reasons to be proud of him, and I'm sure you will miss him terribly. We will all be thinking of you in this sad time. Many virtual hugs.
My love and thoughts to you and your family.
xx
