FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
There a number of very exciting events that will be held during the Agatha Christie Festival which will run from 12 September -19 September.
They range from a Free Fete at Torquay Harbour to Lunch at Burgh Island with a tour of the island for £55, and the Murder Mystery Dining Train gastronomic experience for £49.95.
I might book up one of these expensive treats closer to the time depending on our financial situation. But.....
"I am a retired investor on a pension." Hyman Roth The Godfather part two.
But for now I am quite excited that we have booked up for "Mathew Prichard & John Curran in conversation" at Paignton Library & Information Centre.
What clinched it for us was the "tea and special birthday cake", as well as the usual book signing session, following the conversation.
Mathew Prichard is Agatha Christie's grandson and John Curran is the author of Agatha Christie's Secret Notebooks, so it should be a fascinating and enjoyable couple of hours.

Norman - This all sounds wonderful. I hope you have a terrific time!
Margot- there are some beautiful views on the drive back along the coast road from Paignton-Torquay to Exeter. We will probably visit Greenway, Agatha Christie's beautiful home on the River Dart, again on another summer afternoon.
Sounds excellent Norman
