A few comments and thoughts about crime books set on the mainland of Europe, with titbits about real eurocrime. We hear so much about crime in the USA that many people imagine that Europe is a crime free zone. In crime fiction Europe has become a real challenger to the Americans, but unfortunately real life crime especially in Britain is increasing as well.

Gorgeous photo!
Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you, Norman : ). And thanks for sharing this beautiful photo. You really are skilled.
Thanks very much Dorte and Margot. I am really pleased you like the photo which I took when we visited beautiful Kentucky in 2003 to see among other places the Abraham Lincoln Historic sites.
But I was having a little joke at my own expense, as someone published some of my photos [unconnected with this blog] in a glossy book costing £40 for the hardback and claimed them as their own.
But then you really know you are a skilled photographer! :O
(Have struggled with your competition, but all I´ve come up with is a headache - good luck to everybody else).
I can generally be sure of two things when you publish photos:
1) They will be accompanied by questions.
2) I won't know the answers.

Dorte, sorry about the headache. Concerning the photo book I think it has more to do with the incompetence of the organization concerned than any great photographic skill on my part.
Peter see no questions this time. I temporarily could not find my photos of Jamestown so I thought the Abraham Lincoln log cabin was a suitable compromise.
