A few comments and thoughts about crime books set on the mainland of Europe, with titbits about real eurocrime. We hear so much about crime in the USA that many people imagine that Europe is a crime free zone. In crime fiction Europe has become a real challenger to the Americans, but unfortunately real life crime especially in Britain is increasing as well.

Look forward to your return, Norm. I am thinking of your mother-in-law and much hoping she is doing well.
Thanks Philip.
Ditto here, Norm. Best wishes.
Dear Uriah (Or Norm): I am a writer from New England. A couple of weeks ago I found the blog of Declan Burke and we struck up an internet friendship. I have sent him a copy of my debut novel HUNTING THE KING, which he has been gracious emough to say he would review on his site. This is all very new to me. I work in the non-profit world (two jobs, in fact)and find that I have to do a lot of promoting for my novel and don't have all the time in the world to do it. I am sending this message to you from my overnight job at a longterm residence for dually dignosed mental health patients) I am trying to set up a virtual book tour. Declan suggested that you might be willing to guest host me. This would be my first book tour, but people say it is a must thing to try to do. If you'd be willing to host me, I would be extremely grateful. If you watch the YouTube book trailer for HUNTING THE KING, you'll get a good sense of the novel. It's in the thriller genre. You can also visit my website at www.peterclenott.com or visit my blogs on MySpace, Amazon or Blogspot. Hope to hear from you. Thanks a lot. Peter
Look forward to your return.
