PASTA TROPPO BELLO
All fans of Andrea Camilleri should not miss the fantastic food sites at Bricole and Champaign Taste. A real treat for gluttons, gourmands, and crime aficionados thanks to Lisa and Simona.
A few comments and thoughts about crime books set on the mainland of Europe, with titbits about real eurocrime. We hear so much about crime in the USA that many people imagine that Europe is a crime free zone. In crime fiction Europe has become a real challenger to the Americans, but unfortunately real life crime especially in Britain is increasing as well.

I am so glad you enjoyed our event. I am doing my little part to make Camilleri known in my adoptive country. I see you like Carofiglio too. Do you know Santo Piazzese? I am not sure his novels have been translated into English, though.
I don't know Santo Piazzese but I will see if he has been translated.
Thanks for pushing Camilleri with the larger US market we might get the translations a bit quicker.
Best wishes.
Wow, thank you for posting about our event! I had a sneaky feeling you might like it, and I'm very glad you did.
Long live Montalbano!
Simona, Santo Piazzese has not been translated into English, but there is German translation on Amazon.co.uk for outrageous money. I will be patient.
Lisa, perhaps you should make it an annual event? Or even weekly?
