THRILLER

I think you will enjoy reading Simon Buck's first published book. One particular plot development was not to my personal taste, but then I am a bit quirky.

I enjoyed your review, Norm, and I agree with your reservation.
As to the techno intenet wizadry stuff, I don't usually follow this kind of thing in books either (apart from, eg, in the one I have just read where they take a page to explain what an IP address is, that well known way of finding out who sent the nasty emails). I suspect that quite often, nor does the author, I think they put a load of semi-random buzzwords in to make it sound plausible, but not necessarily making any sense.

I agree some authors rely on the readers not knowing anything about the subject. When it comes to computers and me, I am still clueless.
